Monthly Meeting Minutes

Federation Report:
Top 6 Team Tournament info:
·Pre-fish ends at 2:00pm on June 25th
·Off limits areas: the launch ramp and the areas around the Ferry.
·A Vermont license is required to the Vermont side and creeks.
·On the Vermont side, a stand-a-lone lead sinker ½ oz or less is illegal.
On Columbus Day, Monday Oct. 13th, there will be a Federation run open Team Tournament to help support the USO. The event will be held at Lake Champlain, NY (@ Fort Ticonderoga). Entrance fee is $200 per boat (5 bass per boat) with a 100% payback.
Tournament Director reminders:
·Need current copy of all Boaters insurance.
·Upcoming event on Sunday April 13th @ Lake Hopatcong. 7:00am start time (be at ramp at 6:30am).
·In order to set up and conduct a successful weigh-in, the TD’s boat will be the 1st boat out of the water at the Tournaments end.
New Business:
·On Saturday, April 26th, the Greenbrook Police Dept. will be holding its annual Kids fishing event. Anyone wishing to volunteer and help out at the event please contact Scott Rieger. Boats are needed for display only.
Tips & Techniques:
Rich Tabor led a discussion on “crankbait” fishing.
Misc:
Looking for members who’d like to led a discussion on their favorite technique (ie: Spinnerbaits) at future meetings.
