Lake Discussions took place and then voting completed on the Lake list for the 2009 season. The Lakes are:
·Lake George, NY (2 day)
·Copake Lake, NY
·Lake Hopatcong, NJ
·Merrill Creek Reservoir, NJ
·Candlewood Lake, CT
·Newark Watershed, NJ
·Lake Champlain, NY (2 day)
·Ballston Lake, NY (2 day)
·Oscawana Lake, NY
·(alt.) Greenwood Lake, NJ
New Business:
Three motions were made (and second). Motions are as follows:
1.To increase the non-boater rider’s fee from $25.00 to $40.00.
2.To strike existing rule, Section XII, Article 10, that states participants must be at ramp at least ½ hour before start of a tournament or a penalty is assessed.
3.To amend existing rule, Section VI, Article 4, by removing the language “The priority scheduling of Club events should not be contingent on the Federation, or any other schedule”.
